Our children’s yoga classes are outlined to encourage children to feel safe and in a non-competitive environment.
Working through fun animal poses children will learn the freedom of movement and the use of breath to focus and release anxiety.
Each session will last between 30-40 mins. All children are offered a free taster class, booking is essential
PRESCHOOL YOGA
Preschool yoga sessions are designed specifically to engage younger minds through storytelling and fun animal yoga poses. Unlike conventional sports, practicing yoga through storytelling techniques helps stimulate both the left and right sides of the brain. Children learn to focus and embrace the practical aspect of yoga.
SLOTH CUBS & BEARS
A great way to end a school day or head into the weekend. Stretch & smile, Yoga Sloths is a children’s yoga club, founded and specifically designed for young children aged 4-11. Yoga Sloths goes beyond yoga and looks at how children can express themselves through mindfulness storytelling and yoga.
We introduce tools to
combat anxiety such as breathwork and visualisation that children can take into adulthood and live a healthy balanced life. Using techniques such as mindfulness and
breathwork during early years develops life skills beneficial to young people when entering socially challenging situations and whilst making institutional transitions that are part of every child’s journey into adulthood
