This Valentine’s Day, The Varsity Hotel & Spa will be hosting the ultimate romantic getaway with an overnight stay and a delectable dinner at the hotel’s panoramic bar and brasserie, SIX or the beautifully restored 18th Century Steakhouse, The River Bar Steakhouse & Grill.
If you really want that romantic getaway then you can stay at the hotel overnight from just £159 for a Graduates Double Room. After your relaxaing spa treatments, retire to the room after a good meal for a comfortable and rejuvenating sleep.
And it doesn’t get more rose-petal romantic than at their restaurant SIX which features floor to ceiling windows and two spectacular terraces, providing diners with a view of historic Cambridge and its beautiful architecture. From St John’s College spires to the lush green of Midsummer Common, as evening falls, the restaurant becomes the most romantic spot in the city.
The Valentine’s dinner menu will be available on February 14 on the sixth floor of The Varsity Hotel & Spa. For £74.50 per person (limited availability), guests can feast on a bespoke three-course menu. On arrival, each guest will also be treated to a celebratory glass of Prosecco, a Strawberry Bellini, Kir Royale or Elderflower Fizz.
Alternatively, the Steakhouse & Grill, located on the romantic and intimate Quayside of the River Cam, with magnificent views of Magdalene College, its Gardens and the River Cam will also be available on February 14 for £78.50 per person (limited availability). Guests are treated to a three-course dinner.
